The Morning Approaches

I want to thank everyone who participated in the giveaway contest for Book 1 of The Legend of Draconite: Sunstone!  I got all the packages delivered to their recipients, and I look forward to doing another book giveaway later this year!

Tomorrow is the long anticipated day, folks!  February 27, 2015 is the official release of Sunstone on Createspace, and soon after on the wonderful world of Amazon!  (And I really mean wonderful world; Amazon is an amazing online shopping site.)

The book will be $15 USD, and it will be available as a hard copy and on Kindle as an eBook.

Meanwhile, revision on Book II of The Legacy Incarnate: Incarnate Dream continues.
I finished the chapter insert I mentioned about the Charrak Brothers, and dove headlong into the rest of the story.  I've built up a lot of steam for this project while working on releasing Sunstone.

What's after Incarnate Dream? I plan on announcing the name of my trilogy in progress in the near future, probably after I finish the second Incarnate Dream revision. (I'm planning on doing 3 revision processes for Incarnate Dream.)  What I will say is that after I finish working on Book II and dive into the formatting and publishing process for it, I plan on focusing all my writing energy on the first book of this gritty trilogy.  I found I work best when working on one major project at a time.

While I'm writing, I want to work on transferring my books from Lulu over to Amazon Createspace.  I was thinking that for the next giveaway I would do a few packages that include Book I and II of The Legacy Incarnate, as well as other goodies.  We'll see what the future brings for sure.

Sophronia from the Kajt Chronicles
was the namesake of Master-harper
Sophronia from The Legend of
Draconite.  Both excelled at the harp.
Recently one of my nieces borrowed a copy of the Kajt Chronicles, a quintet I wrote back before The Legend of Draconite.  When she returned it, I decided to try and read it; it's been a long time since I've read through this series.

For those not familiar with my publishing history, the Kajt Chronicles was one of the first things I published on Lulu.  I published the whole series in one volume.  It was a sequel series to the even earlier Silver Dragon Legacy.  The latter was about dragons, the former about a humanoid race in the world called Kajt.  In fact, I ended up using some ideas from the Kajt Chronicles in The Chronicles of Libera, such as the idea of chosen descendants, servants of the gods, and resurrected angels.
Behold, long faces and bold chins.

While my early writing was terrible in terms of plot and characterization, I still see a lot of potential in the story ideas and characters of the Kajt Chronicles.  Maybe in the distant future I may reuse ideas in the Kajt Chronicles for a new story or series.
