The Dream is Coming Soon!

I can't believe how fast June has passed by; it's almost over already!

The giveaway is closed for any entries.  Unfortunately I didn't get any entries, so no one got free ebooks :( However, this won't be the last time I do a giveaway.

This Friday is the release of Book II of The Legacy Incarnate: Incarnate Dream on Createspace in paperback, and as ebook on Lulu!  Within a few days the paperback will also be available on the Amazon market.

Incarnate Dream prices:

  • Createspace and Amazon: $15.99
  • Lulu: $3.99

Mark the date and keep an eye out on these sites to get your copy of this fantastic story!  Also, the ebook of Sunstone is still $0.99 at Lulu!

My readers are probably already wondering about Book III: Incarnate Memory.  I may not get around to editing Book III until the end of this year, as I'm focusing my energy on Hammer of Fire 1: In Chaos Forged and another project besides my trading card game.  I won't talk about it for the time being, as I'm afraid I'll lose my energy for it if I announce what it is at this stage in the project.

As for Incarnate Memory, I can talk about it a little without bursting a mental bubble :)  It takes place 5 years after the end of Incarnate Dream, and of course follows Sabra and a few other companions on an epic quest.  It involves mountains, tundras, and an ancient Molouk fortress on a beach.

In Chaos Forged has definitely left a different flavor on my imaginative palette.  First of all, I'm working mainly with male characters, a first in the Chronicles of Libera, but I'm growing more and more comfortable with them.  Second, because they live in a different place with different people and cultures than the other Libera books, it's been fun coming up with their different mannerisms.  Third, it's been exciting to explore the Crin race, something I've never done in depth.

Right now I'm reading The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan, Book 2 of the Wheel of Time series.  Robert Jordan originally intended WOT to remain a quartet, but it ended up being over a dozen books, finished by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan's death.  So as I keep reading, I'm wondering, with all these ideas popping into my head for HOF, Will Hammer of  Fire become more than a trilogy in order to tell the whole story as it's meant to be?

I guess we'll find out :) But for now, I'm enjoying the journey with my lizard people and their negro counterparts and exploring whole new worlds and cultures.  Whee!

Edit: Something I almost forgot to mention: as I'm working on my trading card game, Libera you can view it in my store here at The Game Crafter.  It's not available for purchase, but you should be able to see changes to card numbers and maybe components (such as counters) as I continue to create cards.
